Context
Art exhibition and Promotional materials

Graphic identity and printed materials for Etnología Urbana, an exhibition by digital artist Marco Di Grande exploring how urban life shapes identity, community and everyday rituals.

The challenge was to create promotional pieces that felt like part of the exhibition itself, while producing as little waste as possible.

Etnología Urbana

Every business card started as a printing test.
Instead of printing new stock, the cards were built from the exhibition’s own test prints. Each one was cut from a different fragment, so no two cards are the same, and every card carries a visible trace of the creative process.

A set of labels extended the exhibition beyond the walls.
Each label uses a pattern that reveals fragments of the artworks shown that day, so visitors took home a small piece of the exhibition and the promotional materials stayed connected to the work itself.

The same approach of reusing existing materials was applied across the rest of the exhibition’s printed and promotional pieces.
